while driving my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys 4xe at approximately 40 mph in electric mode with approximately 26% battery charge remaining, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly lost propulsion. The green indicator on the instrument cluster that normally shows electric operation changed to yellow. Immediately afterward, the Jeep abruptly lost power and began rapidly decelerating. I was NOT applying the brakes. The dashboard displayed "Service Charging System" along with a red warning symbol resembling a charging cord. I was able to get the vehicle off the roadway and into a parking lot. The Jeep then came to a stop. The vehicle remained powered on and the dashboard remained illuminated, but pressing the accelerator produced no response. The Jeep would not move. I turned the vehicle completely off and waited several minutes. When I restarted it, the Jeep started and operated normally again. The Jeep spent approximately three months at an authorized Jeep dealership for multiple electrical/charging system problems and diagnostic trouble codes. During that time, the 12-volt battery was replaced and the Integrated Charging Dual Module (ICDM) was replaced. The Jeep operated normally for approximately three months following those repairs before this incident occurred. This was an extremely serious safety event. The vehicle unexpectedly lost propulsion while actively traveling on a public roadway. If this had occurred at highway speeds, while merging, crossing traffic, or in heavy traffic, I may not have been able to safely get the vehicle off the roadway. I am particularly concerned because the malfunction disappeared after shutting the vehicle off and restarting it, making the failure intermittent and unpredictable. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this sudden loss-of-propulsion incident and determine whether it is related to other reported loss-of-motive-power problems involving Jeep Wrangler 4xe vehicles. The photograph included is not my Jeep but shows what happened

On September 24, 2026, Recall 68C was completed on my Jeep Wrangler 4xe by an authorized Jeep dealership. Following completion of the recall, the first attempt to charge the vehicle resulted in an electrical fire at the charging location. During the charging event, the charger and electrical outlet melted, and the wiring connected to the outlet began to burn. The fire appears to have originated at the charging equipment and outlet. No visible damage occurred to the vehicle itself; however, the charger, outlet, and wiring sustained significant damage. Post-Recall Vehicle Performance Concerns: Since completion of Recall 68C, the vehicle has not operated correctly in Electric Mode. The following conditions were not present prior to the recall service: The internal combustion engine (ICE) repeatedly cycles on and off while the vehicle is displaying "Electric" mode on the instrument panel. Acceleration and overall vehicle performance are significantly reduced. The vehicle experiences severe throttle lag and delayed accelerator response. In some instances, there is little or no throttle response, followed by sudden engine engagement at engine speeds exceeding 3,000 RPM. Vehicle operation in Electric Mode is inconsistent and unpredictable. These performance issues began immediately following completion of Recall 68C and have persisted since the recall service was performed. Additional Information: I have become aware of reports from other Jeep 4xe owners who have described similar drivability and Electric Mode concerns after completion of Recall 68C. Given the charging-related fire event and the significant changes in vehicle operation that appeared immediately after the recall was performed, I am requesting that NHTSA investigate whether these conditions may be related to the Recall 68C remedy or associated software and system changes. Safety Concerns: Fire hazard during charging. Loss of expected vehicle performance. Delayed or unpredictable throttle response.

1. Vehicle loses power when accelerating in full electric causing serious unpredictable delays. Dealer applied bulletins 08-262-26 and 08-039-26, which hard-coded a dangerous throttle lag into the vehicle, creating a severe safety hazard when merging into highway traffic. The dealership will be unable to fix this issue from this point moving forward.

While driving my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe at approximately 70 mph in Hybrid mode the vehicle suddenly and without warning experienced a complete loss of propulsion while I was traveling in traffic. The vehicle would no longer respond normally to the accelerator and I was unable to maintain speed. The Drive (D) indicator began flashing and multiple warning lights and messages appeared on the instrument cluster. I specifically remember the red battery/charging-system warning being illuminated. The dashboard also displayed a warning relating to the power/charging system and a message instructing me to shift or put the vehicle into Park. I had to get the vehicle safely out of moving traffic. This was extremely frightening because the loss of propulsion occurred suddenly at highway speed and could have resulted in a serious collision. This vehicle has previously been brought to an authorized Jeep dealership multiple times for recalls/service involving the battery/electrical/12-volt system. On a previous occasion, the vehicle also failed to start while parked in my garage. After this highway incident occurred and after I was eventually able to get the vehicle operating again, my husband disconnected the 12-volt battery in an attempt to perform a hard reset. The battery was disconnected AFTER the loss-of-propulsion event and therefore did not precede the highway failure. The vehicle is currently at an authorized Jeep dealership for diagnosis. I have asked the dealership to document the complete loss of propulsion, retrieve any available stored, pending, history or permanent diagnostic trouble codes, and determine the cause of the failure. I am reporting this incident because I am very concerned that an electrical, hybrid, battery, charging or powertrain defect may cause the vehicle to suddenly lose motive power again while being driven. A sudden loss of propulsion at highway speed presents a serious safety risk to the occupants of this vehicle and to other motorists.

Whatever I am driving in electric mode usually when I’m down to under 40% electricity, the vehicle decides to shut electricity off and start to load the motor. It’s still flashing on the dash that it’s an electric mode and I tend to lose significant power. I try to give it gas there is no reaction with the gas pedal and then all of a sudden the engine will kick on and I will go into the gas motor running the vehicle why it’s still in electric mode. This happens every day and this is getting ridiculous with the problems that this Jeep is having it seems like Jeep and Solanus do not care. We call Jeep care and they just ignore all of our problems and I know this is a widespread problem throughout the US and Canada these vehicles are unsafe to drive when you’re on the highway and electric mode and it all of a sudden you have no gas pedal in the vehicle significantly slows down and the regenerative braking does not work anymore either at any time after the 68C recall can you please help us

After receiving the 68c recall, which was a software update to protect Jeeps defective HV battery maintenance system, I have experienced two dangerous situations while driving in electric mode. After this recall when driving in electric mode the vehicle will start moving from a stop and then stall. The only way to continue after this high risk delay is to put the accelerator to the floor so the gas engine will kick in. This delay can be a couple seconds. My two circumstances are as follows. Once when crossing an intersection after stopping at a stop sign my jeep moved into the intersection and stalled in the middle of it. There was traffic from the cross road that needed to stop to miss me. The second occurrence was when I was taking a right into moving traffic. Again I was able to enter the road but the Jeep stalled and I was idle as 50 mph traffic was bearing down on me. They too needed to slow to avoid hitting me. The only work around is to not drive in electric mode which is not how the vehicle was intended. Please look into this problem before people are hurt or killed. Thanks

I purchased a new 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe on October 7, 2022, with 15 miles on the vehicle. As of September 19, 2026, the vehicle has 34,764 miles. All safety recalls have been completed: • Recall 53A – May 19, 2023 • Recall 95B – December 12, 2024 • Recall 68C – February 3, 2026 (hybrid battery replaced) • Recall 21D – July 10, 2026 Since the hybrid battery was replaced under Recall 68C in February 2026, I have noticed a significant change in vehicle operation. The vehicle does not remain in Electric mode for very long before automatically switching to gasoline operation. My primary safety concern is delayed acceleration. There is a noticeable pause between pressing the accelerator and the vehicle responding, particularly when accelerating from a stop or entering a highway. This lack of immediate acceleration could create a dangerous situation when quick acceleration is needed to safely enter or merge with traffic. I did not experience this level of delayed acceleration before the hybrid battery was replaced. The change occurred after the battery replacement. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate whether the hybrid battery replacement, hybrid powertrain, or related software may be contributing to the delayed acceleration and unexpected transition from Electric to gasoline operation.

Following completion of the 68C recall/software update around January 31, I noticed a significant change in the performance and drivability of my Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The most noticeable difference was a reduction in acceleration and overall power. The Jeep no longer had the quick, torquey response it previously had, which was one of the primary characteristics that attracted me to the 4xe. At times, pressing the accelerator resulted in noticeable hesitation and very weak acceleration. On one occasion, I pulled into traffic expecting the Jeep to accelerate normally, but it initially did not respond as expected, requiring substantially more throttle to get the vehicle moving. This created a legitimate drivability and safety concern. My impression was that the vehicle's hybrid/electric output had been significantly restricted following the recall update. Based on discussions occurring among other 4xe owners, similar behavior was being described as the vehicle being "nerfed," with reduced electrical output and battery utilization intended to protect the high-voltage battery. Regardless of the cause, the reduction in performance was clearly noticeable compared with how the Jeep drove before the update. In the period leading up to the eventual failure, I also noticed that the Jeep's acceleration felt increasingly abnormal. In retrospect, the change was noticeable enough that I suspected something might be developing before the vehicle ultimately failed. The Jeep later developed a high-voltage battery fault associated with battery-pack voltage variation/cell imbalance. The vehicle displayed warning messages, including "Service Charging System," along with a check-engine light. It also experienced rough idling and eventually became unreliable to start or move. The failure progressed to the point where the Jeep broke down while I was leaving home. After shutting the vehicle off, it would not reliably restart. At different points it briefly powered on, including while bei

The vehicle’s Hybrid system has been dramatically changed and power has been dramatically decreased following several safety recalls on the vehicle’s Hybrid battery. While my vehicle always passed these recalls and the original battery is still in the car, I believe software upgrades to how the Hybrid system functions have created a safety issue. Specifically, the power the Hybrid system provides has been decreased and the engine is forced to turn on sporadically. This at times happens with a delay, causes issues when merging / getting up to speed, and is an overall safety issue. While I have enjoyed having the vehicle, I believe Jeep needs to address this issue to return the vehicle to closer to its original ability and software package in order to make the vehicle as safe as it originally was. The dealer is unable to assist with this and it is more about Jeep corporate putting in the resources to solve the problem the battery and software package has created. I purchased this plug-in hybrid vehicle specifically to utilize electric-only (EV) mode for my daily 30-mile highway commute between [XXX] and [XXX].However, since the Recall 68C service was completed, the vehicle exhibits the following issues:Involuntary Engine Switching: Even when the vehicle is actively set to "Electric" mode, the hybrid powertrain constantly forces transitions between battery power and the internal combustion engine. This behavior occurs under normal driving conditions in ambient outdoor temperatures of approximately 80°F.Loss of Electric Powertrain Performance: The available power and torque in electric-only mode are noticeably diminished compared to the pre-recall performance levels.Compromised Vehicle Utility & Increased Operating Costs: Because the gasoline engine frequently overrides the electric settings, the primary functional utility of the PHEV system is negated. This failure to maintain electric propulsion has dramatically increased my fuel consumption and operati the safety software update deployed to mitigate high-voltage battery cell risks has fundamentally compromised the vehicle's advertised performance, utility, and drivetrain integrity. I request that the NHTSA investigate whether these post-recall performance changes constitute a systematic defect and urge Stellantis/Jeep to provide a permanent software or hardware correction. After the 68C recall was completed, which was a new electric battery, I have had an ongoing issue of losing power when merging back onto a road on city streets as well as onto the hwy. Its very scary to have this loss of power and very dangerous. I also have an issue of short engine runs while in hybrid or electric mode and they seem to be for no reason at all. I can be going the same speed or just barely increase the speed. It may go in and out several times during the drive for no reason at all. I have been told this is not good for the engine. long tern. Now, today I had to get an oil change to get myself out of FORM. I was not due for an oil change. But, I went into form AFTER getting fresh gas and it stayed there for a week. Not sure if it was ever going to go back to being able to use electric or hybrid mode. Also this summer I would go into FORM several times, I purchased this vehicle brand new and I never had this issue the previous 3 summers. It would go out of FORM if I would add gas. But, this time it did not. So, i had to pay for an oil change before actually needing one. I just want my 4xE back to the way it was before the 68C recall. It seems like there may have been a new programing change or something, not sure, but this is NOT the same vehicle I purchased. Losing power is also very dangerous. I am hoping JEEP can make a fix. Since the 68C recall I experience power loss that makes it very difficult to safely operate vehicle in electric only mode. Power loss occurs while attempting to merge into highway traffic sometimes. It also abruptly shifts into gas mode while not in peak demand mode.

After a recent recall (68C) the vehicle performance has greatly deteriorated. The ELEC mode propulsion has been limited, the internal combustion engine (ICE) engages much sooner than previous. Instead of a 'warm-up' cycle for the ICE, it feels as though there is actual clutch engagement, but with limited power. I feel this could have the potential to accelerate engine wear with a 'cold' engine with rapid engagement, as well as increased fuel/oil dilution (inherent with direct injection turbo engines). In turn, causing the vehicle to experience Fuel Oil Refresh Mode (FORM) more frequently, due to short, repetitive engine cycles. Additionally, the regenerative braking has been cut in half, leading to a decrease in electric charger egeneration to the HV battery, as well as decreased range and power. It is most obvious in stop and go traffic, when attempting to pull out in traffic, as well as when attempting to merge onto a highway or interstate. I feel, without intervention, the current vehicle performance will certainly lead to increased mechanical issues, a potential for frequent service department visits, as well as an increased potential for probable incidents/accidents during operation. I understand Stellantis has offered an extended warranty for the HV battery (unlimited years/miles, with limitations). However, Samsung SDI should be pressured to actually fix their HV battery, not replace it with a similar known faulty battery. This vehicle, in my honest opinion, can be made safe and reliable, but only with intervention and pressure from outside agencies with the power to force the manufacturer(s) to do so -- and my service department agrees. That is why I am elevating these issues, to hopefully enact change, and quite possibly, reduce the potential for catastrophic failures and/or an increased potential for accidents resulting in injury/death. Thank you for your concern with this matter.

My vehicles check engine light came on in the morning when starting the vehicle. It was a solid check engine light not flashing. I proceede to drive the vehicle and while pressing the accelerator the vehicle does not move. the engine done not connect immediatly, this is a hybrid vehicle so it attempts to use both the electrical and gas motors. The engin begins to rev very high and then after somewhere between 5-10 secounds of no power the vechicle jumps forward with the gas engine connecting. I attempt to put the vehicle into gas only mode, but this also does not work as this setting is turned off along with the electrical only mode. Other interior electronics are not working either. When attempting to drive to my local auto parts store to find out the codes for the check engine the vehicle shut off the gas engine preventing the vehicle from accelerating. Then seemingly randomly the engine will kick on and lurch the vehicle forward and then stop and turn off the gas engine again. The safty of myself and other are at risk because of the uncontrolable acceleration or loss of power randomly while driving. The problem has now been reproducable for multiple days. I have reported it to my dealership Bloomington Chrystler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram. And was told they do not have any appointments available and I should wait and should be safe to continue driving. Upon getting the codes from the auto parts store obd2 scanner I received 4 counts of the P0BEE code and 1 count of the P1ABC code. I informed my dealership of this and they told me that I should continue to drive it until my appointment and that they can assess it then. In the mean time I have lost power in the middle of intersections while attempting to drive through. I have lurched forward into crosswalks with pedestrians attempting to cross the street at stop signs and have lost power on streets when slowing down causing the vehicle to be unable to restart until coming to a complete stop and restarting.

Every recall they have done on our Jeep regarding the battery has diminished the performance of our Jeep. Now in electric mode , you never know what you are going to get. Sometimes it has decent power and other times it lags and does nothing. Really scary when you are trying to merge. When it is in hybrid mode, the engine kicks on at what seems like full throttle which is not safe either. When we bought it new, neither of these were problems. I want it back to what I originally bought which felt way more safe to drive. I don’t even want my [XXX] and [XXX] kids to drive it because of how unpredictable it is to drive. Post 68C recall, the vehicle performance in all electric mode is greatly diminished. At lower speeds, and electric motor exertion, the vehicle will rapidly and violently switch to combustion power going from 0-3500 rpm’s with no engine warming cycle. Additionally, at 50% battery charge and below, the vehicle can fail to accelerate at all, experiencing a near dead gas pedal, which can be seriously unsafe when attempting to merge or turn into traffic. Based on my experience, these symptoms are exacerbated by warm temperatures, which may be indicative of the manufacturer changing battery temperature thresholds to protect a still defective battery. This vehicle no longer performs as it was advertised and sold to perform following multiple recalls for the same issue. This needs to be resolved once and for all, as it has become a much less safe vehicle to drive as it will switch from ICE to electric unpredictably, causing either rapid, unexpected acceleration or a dead pedal from a stop. Please hold the manufacturer accountable

The high voltage battery failed to charge, power surges and power drops while on highway plus burning smell. Charger stopped charging and gave warning light. No one was able to replicate so I was forced to take vehicle back. I am in [XXX] and asked if this could be the issue. No one could verify or give me advice. Having done my own investigations I see high temperatures can affect and cause thermal fires. The manufacturer is not taking this seriously and also dealers in [XXX] where it is excessively over recommended temperatures to charge should be making owners of these vehicles aware or don’t sell them in the state. I have been treated appallingly from everyone trying to ensure my safety. Although I was lucky there was no serious incident I believe this will happen. Furthermore with the fires in EV or hybrids, why if excessive heat is an issue, are the fires not being investigated as to where and what states. I thought NHTSA was there to protect and provide safety information for manufacturers to follow. I am being left to drive a vehicle in which me my family and others are being put in danger. After the 68c recall the power of the electric drive is limited. Frequent power loss occurs on highway driving during acceleration (merging onto highway or passing other cars). Despite the battery being charged up to 50% there is only 25% power available. The car is a plug in hybrid vehicle. The internal combustion engine starts in these cases with several seconds delay. During that time the car does not accelerate sufficiently to safely merge onto a highway or pass other cars. The power loss happens without warning during critical drive situations like merging onto a highway or passing other cars. The driver expects a continuous level of power by the car, not a sudden power loss. This is reported by countless other drivers on all social media platforms as a consequence of the 68C recall that affects 350 000 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe. Jeep does not respond to customer complaints or requests for clarification.

Vehicle went into “limp mode” as I was entering an intersection. Pressed accelerator to the floor and vehicle would only sputter and crawl slowly. Vehicle towed to dealership. My safety and the safety of others was put at risk as the vehicle, without warning, essentially stalled while driving. If there were other vehicles on the roadway, this could have easily caused an an accident with injuries or worse. Yes the problem was comfirmed by the dealership. Yes the vehicle has been inspected by the dealer and manufacturer engineer. Dealership reports high voltage battery needs replacement. Dealership states that they cannot guarantee this won’t happen again even after battery is replaced. Check engine light was illuminated.

I own a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Sahara 4xe (VIN [XXX], plug-in hybrid). Since new, this vehicle has had repeated electrical and high-voltage (HV) hybrid battery system failures. About eight months after purchase, at approximately 6,590 miles, the vehicle lost power and would not restart in a parking lot ("Service Charging System" warning) and had to be towed to the dealer (Repair Order #[XXX], 10/18/2023–10/20/2023); a 12V battery failure was diagnosed. On February 9–10, 2026, the dealer performed Recall Campaign 68C (JL/WL PHEV HV Battery) on this vehicle — a software/module update to the BPCM, HCP, AHCP, PCM, TCM, and IDCM, plus an HV battery diagnostic analysis (Repair Order #[XXX]). On [XXX], at approximately 22,692 miles, the check engine light illuminated and the dealer diagnosed a hybrid (HV) battery failure. The manufacturer (Stellantis/FCA US LLC) subsequently opened a warranty case (#[XXX]) and a lemon-law repurchase case (#[XXX]), confirming the vehicle could not be repaired and offering repurchase or $15,000 cash compensation. As of this filing, the vehicle remains at the dealership, out of service, well past the dealer's own promised repair completion date. Across its ownership, this vehicle has been out of service for HV-battery- and electrical-system-related repairs for a documented cumulative total of approximately 50 days. I am filing this report because a vehicle losing propulsion/electrical power unexpectedly, and a manufacturer needing to run an HV battery software recall campaign on this same vehicle only six months before a full HV battery failure, both raise safety concerns beyond an ordinary warranty repair, and I want this pattern on record in case other owners of this model are experiencing the same failures. Vehicle left me stranded in the middle of an intersection XXX due to high voltage battery failure. Vehicle was totally inoperable. This is the second time the battery has failed. First battery replacement was XXX. Also serviced XXX for battery issues. Vehicle had to be towed to the dealership, date unknown when battery will arrive for replacement. I'm now left with a vehicle that will have zero value for resale. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle and cannot consider driving the Jeep for a long distance. I tried to chat one of the agents associated with NHTSA named [XXX], she was very rude. I hope you can understand this situation is extremely upsetting. Thank you. This vehicle is subject to two open NHTSA fire-risk recalls. The remedies provided so far have not corrected the underlying defects. Recall 25V-741 (Safety Recall 95B/68C), high-voltage battery fire risk: On 1/9-20/2025, dealer reprogrammed BPCM and TCM software only (Invoice #52682); no parts replaced; mileage 18,680. On 1/6-7/2026 - one year later - the dealer performed a SECOND remedy for the SAME recall: reprogrammed BPCM, AHCP/HCP, and PCM software only (Invoice #61639); no parts replaced; mileage 31,553-31,561. Reprogramming the same modules twice within 12 months for the same fire-risk recall, with no battery hardware ever replaced, indicates the first remedy failed to correct the defect. The recall notice describes battery pack replacement as a possible remedy "if needed," but this has never been performed. Recall 26V363000 (issued 6/4/2026), EPS pump wiring fire risk: On 7/10/2026, dealer inspected the power steering pump harness connector only (Invoice #66268, "Safety Recall 21D"); no parts replaced; mileage 36,871-36,874. Across 3 remedy visits spanning both recalls, only software reprogramming or connector inspection was performed - zero hardware parts replaced. This pattern indicates the fire-risk defects remain uncorrected. Requesting NHTSA review the adequacy of these recall remedies.

My 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe High Altitude received FCA Recall 68C. Since the recall was completed, the vehicle has experienced repeated and unpredictable reductions in available propulsion during normal driving. The problem is most noticeable when accelerating to merge onto highways, enter traffic, or pass slower vehicles. During these situations, I depress the accelerator expecting normal acceleration, but the vehicle frequently provides significantly reduced power. There is a noticeable delay before the gasoline engine produces sufficient propulsion, leaving the vehicle unable to accelerate as expected for several seconds. Based on my experience, the condition is significantly worse during hot weather. As outside temperatures increase, the hesitation and reduction in available propulsion appear to occur more frequently and are more pronounced. This has caused me to lose confidence in the vehicle's ability to accelerate when needed. This condition creates a serious safety hazard because surrounding traffic continues at highway speeds while my vehicle is unable to accelerate as commanded. In [XXX], this hazard is particularly acute because many interstate and highway entrance ramps are relatively short, requiring drivers to accelerate quickly to merge safely into traffic traveling at highway speeds. When the vehicle unexpectedly limits propulsion or delays engaging the gasoline engine, there may not be sufficient distance to reach the speed necessary to merge safely, increasing the risk of a collision. The same issue also affects attempts to pass slower vehicles on two-lane highways, where timely acceleration is essential for safe operation. The vehicle does not display diagnostic trouble codes or warning messages when this occurs. Because no diagnostic codes are stored, I have not taken the vehicle to the dealer, as other owners have reported that dealerships are unable to identify or repair the condition in the absence of fault codes. On two separate occasions, documented with the dealership, while driving, the Jeep failed to accelerate and instead decelerated. On one occasion, this occurred while I was in a single lane on ramp merging onto a highway and reached approximately 45mph. On a separate occasion, I was just pulling out of my subdivision and reaching approximately 30-35 mph when the same issue occurred. Both times, I pulled the vehicle to the side of the road as best as possible, and restarted the vehicle. The vehicle often fails to turn off, as it should. The vehicle has also failed to turn on as it should. The center screen turned off for a full trip. There is only approximately 15k miles on this 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The dealership most recently had the vehicle for 6 days but could not replicate the problem in 30 miles and there were no stored error codes besides two related to the radio generated by the HVAC module and the BCM module. An arbitrator found: Although the Customer had established proof of a nonconformity that could substantially impair the safety of the vehicle, I find that there have not been an unreasonable number of repair attempts nor days out of service. I have received three vehicle recalls warning of vehicle fire that have no known recall repair for months.

On 11/7/25 I brought my Jeep Wrangler 4xe for the two active recalls and an oil change. The battery recall could not be done. The motive power was supposedly fixed. Since then there has been a new problem. The Jeep gets to the point of stall (like the motive power issue) however right before the stall it surges. This really caught me off guard the first few times and I barely avoided three accidents. Now I know when it feels like it is going to stall to be prepared to slam on the breaks. However this is not really a good situation they really need to do a full recall to fix this thing. I noticed you gave an open investigation and I think it is a separate issue from the loss of motive power issue and I think the fix for the motive power problem has exacerbated this problem of lurching/surging that I have told my dealer about no fewer than three times. The most recent almost stall and surge happened this morning as I was merging into a rotary and again because of that surge I almost lost control of the vehicle.
