On three occasions over the last 6 months my truck has died completely. The first time all warning lights came on and there was no speed showing but the truck kept driving. When I finally parked and restarted everything was normal. The second time all warning lights came on the cool air turned hot and then it just died while driving. I was very close to parking so no danger there. This last time I was parked in a swamp hunting and when we got back to the truck it was completely dead. I was able to jump it thankfully as we were in the middle of nowhere and it was hard to get to, not sure help would have been able to get in there. When restarted it once again had all warning lights on, said I had no gas, and wouldn't provide my speed when driving.

My 2022 Ram 1500 Big Horn V6 eTorque stumbles and cuts out during hard acceleration, this issue, when it happens has caused a dangerous performance issue to the point that I have almost been struck from behind while attempting to join the flow of traffic, the actions of either the PCM or some other engine control system cuts all motor RPM to barely an idle while traffic around me are at speeds of 40+ MPH while I am attempting to accelerate, I get a brief warning message on the display screen that flickers for less then one second (I am unable to read the warning) this is extremely dangerous. I also have been getting UCONNECT ERROR - none of these are leaving error codes in the vehicles memory.

For the 6th time this year. I was going to take off from stopped when I went to accelerate and my truck shut off, showed switch to park. When I went to apply my brakes. It automatically engages the parking break while moving. This time. A vehicle near rear ended me with my kids in the car due to the abrupt halt. Truck had a full tank. Seat belts were worn. Just engine dying and slamming itself into park. I’ve been searching and seen lots of complaints about similar models and no recall for the 2022 1500. This is becoming a reoccurring issue that is endangering the safety of my children

On October 1, 2026, my 2022 Ram 1500 Rebel with the 5.7L HEMI eTorque mild-hybrid system failed to restart after an automatic engine stop-start event at a red light. The engine shut off as designed when I stopped. After about 90 seconds the light turned green and I released the brake, but the engine did not restart, and the truck sat motionless in the traffic lane. When I pressed the accelerator, the engine revved and the truck lurched forward unexpectedly. At that point a battery warning light and an auto stop-start warning (stop-start symbol with an exclamation mark) appeared on the dash. No warning lights appeared before the failure. I pulled over and was able to restart the truck, but the dash voltmeter read about 12.8V while running instead of the normal 14.4V, meaning the 12V battery was not being charged. I drove to my destination. After I shut the truck off and restarted it, voltage returned to about 14.4V. Note that this is not the first time this has occurred and I often keep the automatic start/stop off because it seems to have so many issues.

Electrical system, visibility/wiperFiled Oct 1, 2026
Approximately 10 mins into my drive there was a burning smell in my cab, then within a few seconds there was a loud popping/exploding sound. I pulled into a parking lot within 100 feet and exited vehicle. I went to front of vehicle to see if there was smoke and after finding none I leaned back inside my truck’s cab and realized not only was the burning smell stronger but there was visible smoke lingering. At that point I saw that one of the back stationary windows was shattered. Looking closer I saw that below the window the glass was charred and the plastic trim had melted slightly. I stayed out of the vehicle and started researching the possible cause. I read several reports of issues with 5th generation Ram trucks, like mine, experienced issues like mine caused from faulty rear defrosters. After consulting with someone over the phone, I pulled the fuse for the rear defrosters to be certain there would no longer be any type of electric current flowing to the defrosters.

I was in an emergent situation and beyond for my own safety but also to follow the law i had android auto already connected and used [XXX] to hands free call [XXX] without taking my eyes off the road since the emergent situation was someone almost ran me off the road. When i told [XXX] to call [XXX] [XXX] wasted precious time asking me if im sure that i want to call [XXX] while im trying to report the person who almost ran me off the highway at 75 miles an hour while they went almost 85 90. That is ridiculously insane and when i probed [XXX] as to why it did this it said because it used too call [XXX] without need. I promise no one who is actually in need of it would ever give a XXXXXX if [XXX] occasionally called [XXX] by accident espcially when it involves precious milliseconds not minutes. I "sent feedback" but that never does a XXX thing and when i tried to follow the instructions i needed to use to grab the logs to add to this report the andoid auto section didnt even exist and ever so conviently the logs for that specific interaction couldn't be found either which i find extremely suspicious after the 100's of shady/illegal/harmful things that google/alphabet has done to hide their own fault whenever their products fail. I did after this finally get in contact with the police at XXX dispatch but since i was driving they just asked for my name and info if they needed to get ahold of me so i dont have any information on a police report yet or may not ever recieve info on that regard. I am making this report because it's the only way ive found to report this information outside of google so that hopefully something may get done because that is absolutely unacceptable and google needs to fix it. Idc if they pay a settlement or whatever i just care that it gets XXX fixed because nobody should have to feel what i felt when i was trying to call emergency services and making sure i wasnt misdialing was more important than the emergency INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Have noticed this has been reported as an eps issue with the ram 1500's. This has been reproduced by an independent service center and they thought it might be a loose connection with water getting in. They tried to fix this but still getting the issue even when there is no rain. The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45-50 MPH in the rain, children in the rear of the vehicle informed the contact that the rear window was allowing water to leak into the vehicle. The water reached several electrical systems, including the rear braking assembly and the third brake light seal above the cab of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed the contact that the window and window seals needed to be replaced. The contact decided not to repair the vehicle out of pocket because of TSB Number: 23/098/23 Warranty Ext XL1, which addressed the failure. The dealer informed the contact that the parts for the repair were the same parts that needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not covered under TSB Number: 23/098/23 Warranty Ext XL1 because the TSB expired in 2021. The failure mileage was 53,467.

Dodge Ram Engine light and battery light turn on. I take it to a mechanic close to my house. Service manager connects the truck to the computer and vehicle shows error in alternator which. Dodge specific parts and he advises me to take the truck straight to dodge and not drive it anymore that the battery voltage is dropping and not charging. He sends me email breakdown of all error codes and tells me to give it to dodge. I drop off at dodge and provide all information to advisor including error codes. I tell them everything that happened and what the manager said about the battery voltage. They claim all information I provided wont all fit on the ticket so erases it and put basic information regarding voltage error. I offered to show him the pics and the report that was provided to me by other mechanic but he stated that they will have to do their own diagnostics anyway. Says that my truck has a bunch of software recalls that may clear the problem. I get a call they did a software update that cleared and fixed the problem and it wasn't the MGU. Vehicle was fixed and i could pick up. I pick up truck and the warning lights were cleared. Took it home no more driving. My 17 year old drives truck next day for school event, on his way to school event both lights turn back on. I tell him to come straight home we switch cars and i take directly to dodge. As i'm driving I'm paying attention to the voltage on battery, within a 10 mile drive to drop truck off at dodge the voltage goes from 12.? down to 10.9V. at 10.5 V the vehicles computers will lose power which can cause the power steering to go stiff, transmission to lock up or engine to stall abruptly mid drive. If this would have happened while my son was driving on hwy loop 410 in San Antonio (a major and very busy road) it could have been a disaster causing a wreck, potential loss of control or worse potentially ending in death or serious injury in a truck that was released the day prior as being fixed.

Fuel/propulsion systemFiled Sep 9, 2026
On XXX at approximately 1:00 PM, while driving my 2022 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel on [XXX] east of [XXX]/north of [XXX], a rigid metal diesel fuel supply tube fractured at approximately 49,209 miles. The failure caused a substantial uncontrolled release of diesel fuel into the engine compartment and underneath the vehicle. Diesel fuel traveled underneath the truck and contaminated portions of the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle's check engine light came on, became disabled and required repair away from home. The failed component has been retained. Photographs show a visible crack/fracture in the metal tube itself rather than at a threaded connection. A replacement Mopar tube was obtained from a Ram dealer. The vehicle previously underwent the Ram/Stellantis high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) safety recall, Recall 01A/NHTSA 23V-263, on XXX. I do not currently know whether the failed tube was replaced or disturbed during that repair and have requested the prior repair records. I am reporting this because a sudden pressurized diesel fuel leak into the engine compartment presents a potential fire hazard. I have retained the failed component and can make it available for inspection. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The steering wheel was firm and difficult to turn. The vehicle was turned off and failed to restart immediately. The contact stated that after several minutes, the vehicle restarted. Additionally, while driving with the cruise control feature activated, the feature deactivated inadvertently and the message "Traction Control Disconnected" was displayed. The fuel gauge on the instrument panel was moving erratically and then became inoperable. The vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road, turned off, and then restarted. The vehicle was then taken to the residence. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer four times and was diagnosed with an unknown communication error. During the first visit, the ABS module was replaced. During the second, third, and fourth visits, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure, but stated that there was a communication error. My 2022 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L HEMI eTorque system illuminated the check-engine light at approximately 88,000 miles with diagnostic codes P0AEE and P0BD4 relating to the motor-generator/inverter temperature sensing system. An authorized Ram dealership diagnosed a failed Motor Generator Unit (MGU) and stated that the MGU requires replacement. I was advised that continued operation could eventually result in the vehicle becoming undrivable, so I am storing the vehicle rather than routinely driving it. The dealer has ordered a replacement MGU but reports a severe national backorder and cannot provide an estimated repair date. Stellantis Customer Care has opened a case and is attempting to expedite the part, but has not provided an ETA. I am reporting this because the MGU is integral to the eTorque starting/charging system and the vehicle cannot presently be repaired within a known timeframe. I understand NHTSA has an existing investigation, PE24-018, concerning loss of motive power in 2022 Ram 1500 eTorque vehicles.

Fuel system, diesel, engineFiled Sep 1, 2026
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle lost power and coasted to a stop along the curb, stalled, and the transmission independently shifted to park(P). The vehicle failed to restart, and the Police arrived on the scene to assist with traffic control. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, who replaced the high-pressure fuel pump as part of the repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V263000 (FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL). However, the repair failed to fix the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to a second dealer, and it was determined that during the failure with the high-pressure fuel pump, the valves in the engine were damaged. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 139,000.

Electrical system, lane departureFiled Aug 31, 2026
I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my Ram 1500, which I purchased from Tuttle-Click’s Tustin Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram less than one year ago. Despite the vehicle being relatively new to me, I have experienced multiple serious electrical and safety-related failures, including non-functioning power windows, air conditioning, horn, infotainment/display screen, backup camera, and vehicle sensors. These are not minor inconveniences; several of these failures directly affect the safe operation of the vehicle and my ability to properly operate and maneuver it. I do not believe a vehicle with these systems malfunctioning should be considered safe to drive. I am extremely concerned that I have encountered these problems after purchasing the vehicle from an authorized dealership and after spending my hard-earned money expecting a safe and reliable vehicle. I am requesting that these defects be thoroughly investigated and corrected immediately. I also urge the manufacturer and dealership to review whether similar electrical and safety complaints involving Ram 1500 vehicles indicate a broader recurring problem. I expect a prompt response and a meaningful resolution because I should not be placed in a position where I have to risk my safety or the safety of others simply by operating a vehicle I recently purchased.

Service brakesFiled Aug 29, 2026
When it rains, the ESC, ABS and check engine lights come on. 4WD capability and is disabled and rear backup stopping is disabled. Steering becomes rough like it is locked in 4WD High but once dried out that goes away, and all lights except check engine light goes out. Mechanic reset codes and the next time it rains the scenario repeats itself.

Power train, electrical system, engineFiled Aug 25, 2026
The vehicle has already had the generator replaced due to failure and shutting off while driving down the road and the speed limit. The truck was in the shop for almost 6 moths, then the front drive shaft broke while driving in 2-wheel drive. Now while my wife was driving going 40 mph on HWY 96 the car shut off and put itself in park in the middle of the highway. We were lucky no one hit us and after a few minutes it restarted and we were able to get it off the road and have it towed to the dealer where it is right now.
Incident Aug 19, 2026
Suspension, wheelsFiled Aug 24, 2026
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 45 MPH, there was a shimmy coming from the vehicle. The contact pulled into a parking lot, and the front passenger’s side tire, rim, brake assembly, and ball joint suddenly detached from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, and it was confirmed that there was no warranty coverage on the vehicle for the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 29,000.

Steering, electrical system, service brakesFiled Aug 10, 2026
Driving 70 mph on a 3 lane hwy. All the sudden it loses power, engine dies. Have barely any brakes or steering. No turn signals I don’t believe or brake lights. Have to swerve through traffic that doesn’t know what I’m doing to get to the side, if there is one. Dash light says “truck not in park”. This is the second time, it could have and almost killed me or someone else both times

Power trainFiled Aug 10, 2026
I own a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 4x4 (5.7L HEMI eTorque, ZF 8-speed automatic), VIN [XXX], approximately 40,000 miles. For roughly two years, the transmission has produced a hard, jarring downshift and lurch during normal low-speed deceleration, consistently when slowing from ~20 mph to a stop. This occurs both when the engine is cold and fully warmed up, ruling out a cold-start explanation. It happens under normal city driving, not towing or aggressive driving. The jolt is forceful enough that passengers, including my spouse, are reluctant to ride in the vehicle. I brought the truck to an authorized Ram dealership (Greenway Dodge, Orlando, FL) and left it overnight. The service manager stated this was “normal” behavior and that his own vehicle did the same. When I noted it happens warm as well as cold, I was told nothing could be done. No diagnostic codes were pulled, no fluid inspected, and no TSBs checked during the visit. I later confirmed via NHTSA’s TSB lookup that a bulletin addressing rough downshifting on 5.7L eTorque Ram 1500 trucks (TSB 21-005-19 or superseding revisions) exists for this platform, and has NOT been applied to my VIN despite the dealership having full access to check. I’m filing this because: 1) the behavior involves unexpected, forceful lurching during low-speed deceleration that could startle a driver near intersections; 2) my dealership dismissed it without diagnostics or checking for applicable updates; 3) this appears to be a widely reported issue among other 2019-2022 Ram 1500 eTorque owners, suggesting a pattern rather than an isolated defect. I’m requesting NHTSA document this as part of its review of shift-quality/drivetrain behavior in eTorque-equipped Ram 1500 trucks of this model year INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Incident Aug 1, 2024
Engine and engine cooling, electrical system, engineFiled Aug 10, 2026
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving approximately 20 MPH, the vehicle shut off unexpectedly and the electronic parking brake unintendedly engaged. The parking brake warning light was illuminated. The driver was able to pull over to the side of the road. The driver was unable to disengage the parking brake, and the vehicle failed to restart immediately. The vehicle was restarted after several attempts and was driven to the destination. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to a dealer for a service appointment. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that there would be a charge for a diagnostic test and for the repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Action Number: PE24018 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System, Engine, Engine and Engine Cooling). The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
Incident Aug 10, 2026
Fuel/propulsion systemFiled Aug 8, 2026
While accelerating the vehicle stalled and came to a complete stop. I was unable to leave the road way due to the vehicle stoping, shifting to park, setting the e brake. I then had to push start again and pull to the shoulder. The vehicle then indicated a battery warning light, and the voltage indicated the battery was below 12v. Upon returning home and restarting the vehicle all warning lights turned off and the battery voltage indicated no issues. This vehicle is on its 3rd 12v battery. It has gone to the dealer multiple times over the battery. It hesitates while accelerating but without expensive diagnostics I had no recourse.

Unknown or otherFiled Aug 6, 2026
After truck has been sitting or several Upon start up and driving in the first 2-5 minutes the truck will stall and display shift to park on the screen. Once truck is shifted to park it will restart fine and work as it should. No engine codes or other symptoms. This has happened 8 times over the past 6 months. Shits off at low speeds making turns usually or coming to a stop. Has been to dealer and they are unable to duplicate or figure anything out.

Electrical systemFiled Aug 6, 2026
The Ram uconnect system screen can go black, have glitches or be unresponsive. When this screen goes out the backup camera is no longer displayed.navigation is also no longer usable. When it goes out it is intermittent but can at anytime. Mine was out for an entire week then started working agian.

EngineFiled Aug 6, 2026
Twice now my engine has shut off while driving at low speeds under 25mph. When this happens my electric emergency brake engages. Dash tells me to shift to park. The first time this happened my truck was stuck in the middle of an intersection and I almost got hit several times because the truck wasn’t restarting or releasing the electric brake. Took about 7-8 try’s of getting it to start before it finally started then the truck still wouldn’t move because the electric brake wouldn’t disengage even when trying to manually disengage it. I had to turn vehicle off and back on again for the electric brake to manually release. The second time this happened I again was stuck in an intersection but was able to restart on the 2nd try and had to manually release the electric brake. The dealer has told me no codes no problem found the first time this happened. I’m bringing it back to them this weekend. I do not feel safe in this vehicle due to this happening! I feel like I have been lucky that nobody has crashed into me when this happens.

Electrical system, lane departureFiled Aug 5, 2026
I purchased my 2022 Ram 1500 5.7L new. Since purchasing the vehicle, it has experienced multiple electrical system failures that occurred without warning. The infotainment screen stopped functioning, which also caused the backup camera to become inoperative. In addition, the horn no longer works, the air conditioning has failed, and the power windows will not operate. These failures appear to be related to the vehicle's electrical system and have significantly affected both the safety and usability of the truck. The loss of the backup camera reduces visibility while reversing, increasing the risk of a crash. The horn is an essential safety feature used to warn other drivers and pedestrians of potential hazards, and its failure creates an additional safety risk. The vehicle was purchased new and has experienced multiple critical electrical failures affecting several systems. I am submitting this complaint so the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) can investigate whether these electrical failures represent a safety-related defect affecting other 2022 Ram 1500 vehicles.
Incident Jul 9, 2026
Steering, suspension, service brakesFiled Jul 25, 2026
While driving, the front passenger side ball joint failed catastrophically. The wheel completely separated from the control arm and folded under the truck, causing the vehicle to drop hard onto the suspension and nearly lose control. I was extremely fortunate not to be involved in a crash or killed. Photos taken immediately after the failure show the wheel collapsed under the truck and the damaged suspension components (upper/lower control arm and ball joint area). This is a sudden, total failure of a critical steering/suspension part with no prior warning symptoms that I noticed.

Electrical system, back over preventionFiled Jul 17, 2026
"I am filing a formal safety complaint regarding a recurring, dangerous safety violation in my 2022 Ram truck. The entire Uconnect infotainment screen completely blacks out, freezes, and enters an unexpected reboot cycle while the vehicle is in operation. This total system failure causes an intermittent, complete loss of the rearview backup camera, creating an immediate crash hazard and placing the vehicle in direct non-compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 111 (FMVSS 111). Furthermore, when the system crashes, it completely disables all cabin environment controls—preventing the use of the windshield defroster—and creates a severe, unpredictable distraction while driving in traffic until the system finishes recycling."

Electrical system, back over preventionFiled Jul 15, 2026
I purchased my Ram 1500 5.7 2022 new last year. The vehicle has experienced multiple electrical failures. The infotainment screen stopped working, causing the backup camera to become inoperative. The horn no longer functions, the air conditioning stopped working, and the power windows will not roll down. These failures occurred without warning. The loss of the backup camera and horn creates a significant safety concern because they are important safety features. I am reporting this issue so NHTSA can determine whether this represents a safety-related defect affecting other Ram 1500 vehicles.

Engine, fuel/propulsion systemFiled Jul 14, 2026
Two week Monday July 6, around 3:15pm while driving down on highway passing lane suddenly the vehicle start loosing speed and after few seconds I noticed that the engine stalled. No warning light or anything, the steering wheel turns to very heavy and the break pedal is really hard as well. Fortunately near by there was a U-turn lane for authorized vehicles only and I was able to merge to it and stop. After that I was able to start the vehicle immediately with no issues. Behind me there were at least 10 other cars trying to pass a line of semi trucks and I was lucky to nobody crash on my rear. I took the vehicle to the dealer, they run tests and tried to reproduce but no success. Besides the dealer no one checked anything due to there was no substantial damage or anything. Actually this was the second time that the vehicle engine stalled. First time was couple months back while my wife was driving in low speed trying to move out from a stopping light and the engine stalled.
Incident Jul 6, 2026
Power train, electrical system, engineFiled Jul 14, 2026
The engine intermittently stalls when I press the accelerator. When this happens, the vehicle loses power, the AutoPark/electronic parking brake engages, and the battery warning light appears. This has happened more than once and creates a serious risk of a collision or being stranded if it occurs in traffic. The vehicle is a 2022 Ram 1500 Rebel with the 5.7L eTorque system. The manufacturer’s records show customer satisfaction campaign Z49 as completed, but the stalling problem continues. The symptoms appear similar to those under NHTSA investigation PE24-018. The vehicle is available for inspection.
Incident Jul 14, 2026
Exterior lightingFiled Jul 14, 2026
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front driver’s side turn signal was intermittently inoperable. No warning light was illuminated. An unknown dealer was contacted, and the contact was informed that the headlight assembly needed to be replaced; however, the vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 62,000.

when i am driving and going left through a roundabout a few minutes from my house my engine just shuts off, no warning lights on the dash. this has now happened twice this year (2026) most recent was Tuesday 7/7/26, i have 38,089 miles on it. there were cars behind me both times luckly both times i was able to stop as the light was red just after the roundabout put it in park and it started right up. the dealer thinks it could be somthing in the area that has the same frequency as my truck. this is becuse his aunt had a ford that when she went to the same local convenience store her car wouldn't start up and that dealer said it was the same frequency as the fuel pumps at that store. im not buying that.

Traveling down I64 Eastbound towing a 24' enclosed trailer loaded with 2 RZRs in my 2022 Ram 1500 Limited, a check engine light came on. I decided I'd get off at the next exit to have it looked at as we're one hour into a 3.5 hr drive. Within one or two mins of the check engine light dinging, another dash light came on in the form of a red battery with a lightning bolt. I had no idea what that was, but immediately after that light coming on, every light on the dash started blinking and the burnt electric smell flooded the cabin. I immediately put on the hazard lights and started to pull onto the shoulder and slow it down...but the brake pedal went to the floor and I had no brakes. I then steered the truck off the shoulder and into the grass and the soft ground (it was raining) helped slow it down, but we had to jump out of the truck before it had stopped as the overwhelming white smoke was about to asphyxiate us. The truck was down to about 5 mph when we had to jump out. The truck was completely engulfed in flames within just a few mins.

Trailer hitchesFiled Jun 27, 2026
We purchased a Rhino USA Adjustable Trailer Hitch with locking hitch pins on Amazon. On its very first use, while towing our empty 1,600-pound Forester camper, the steel pin fractured where it enters the locking head. We heard the pin snap while making a slow turn about a quarter mile from our home. The locking head detached and was later found on the roadway. Fortunately, the pin remained in the receiver long enough for us to get home, but this could easily have resulted in the ball mount sliding out of the receiver and a trailer separation. We have retained both pieces of the failed pin and have photographs. Because the locking head detached and was found on the roadway, while the remaining pin stayed in the receiver only by chance, this failure had the potential to allow the ball mount to exit the receiver during travel which could be deadly to those on the highway. We have reported this to the manufacturer, but have not heard from them yet.

SteeringFiled Jun 26, 2026
The power steering rack/steering gear malfunctioned on my 2022 Ram 1500 at approximately 25,000 miles. Repair estimate is about 4,000. This appears to be a premature steering-system failure and creates a safety concern because steering assist failure can affect vehicle control.
