Due to an error in the instrument panel software at vehicle startup, the instrument panel may fail to display vehicle speed, brake system, and tire pressure warning lights.

STRUCTURE

The contact owns a 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The contact stated that while the vehicle was turned off and unoccupied, another vehicle crashed into the vehicle. The contact stated that the front bumper was damaged in the crash. The vehicle was inspected by the insurance company for a claim and was taken to a service center for repairs. The contact stated that the front bumper was replaced. The vehicle was parked at the residence, and the contact became aware that the front driver's side of the bumper had popped out and nearly detached. The contact expressed concerns that the bumper might have been improperly manufactured or installed. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.

STEERING,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

I received the warning "Power Steering Malfunction - Steering Power Low - Visit your Dealer". At this time the car pre-collition warning, power steering, lane-change-warning, all stopped working. I took the vehicle to the dealer, they asked that I pay 5,492.72 for repairs. Because the vehicle has 55,711 and it is considered out of Warranty. The sales manager said that it was my fault for not purchasing an extended warranty when I purchased the vehicle 3 weeks prior. The vehicle was purchased with 51,537 miles from Mark McLarty Toyota, located at 4336 Landers Rd. North Little Rock, AR 72117

STRUCTURE

2025 Toyota Camry XSE front bumper cover repeatedly pops out/separates underneath the driver and passenger side headlamps. This has been a widespread issue among a lot of 2025 Toyota Camrys but dealerships say there is no solution and has not become a recall. There absolutely needs to be a recall for this! I feel this could absolutely cause the entire bumper to come undone. There needs to be an official recall and a solution to fix this issue.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

System operates normally on initial speed setting, when the brake pedal is applied which cancels the cruise control (which is normal) problem arises when resetting the cruise control, by pressing the + R in order to re-set the cruise control, nothing happens, so I have to press the button again to re-engage the system. The problem is intermittent but it always seems to happen when there is a car behind me.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL

While parallel parked in front of a school, I exited the parking space and entered the roadway. I was straightening the vehicle after exiting the parking space and had my foot on the brake. When I lifted my foot from the brake, before I intentionally applied the accelerator, the vehicle began accelerating. There was no noticeable jerking or lurching. The acceleration was smooth and continuous, as if the accelerator pedal had been pressed. I immediately applied the brake and was able to regain control of the vehicle. This was an unexpected acceleration event and was extremely concerning because I was in a school zone/student pickup area. Had this occurred only a few minutes later, there would typically have been lots of pedestrians, primarily children, in the immediate area. Although there was no collision or injury, I believe the unexpected acceleration created a serious safety hazard. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the Toyota dealer. I have an appointment scheduled for this afternoon (8/26/26 @ 2pm EDT). I will provide NHTSA with the dealer's findings when available. IS SCHEDULED FOR LATER TODAY WITH TOYOTA. HOWEVER, THE SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN THE NEXT DAY. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? NO 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? NO

STEERING,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

On August 15, the car with 55611 miles the car gave the error Power Steering malfunction. Steering power low. Also lights indicating cruise control, lane departure and collision warnings have been disabled. On August 17, I drove the vehicle to the Toyota dealership where I purchased it and they gave me a quote for $5492.72 to fix the issue because it was out of warranty and I did not buy an extended warranty. I took the vehicle home and parked it. Steering the vehicle is extremely hard and all safety features ADAS are disabled.

STRUCTURE

I hear cracking, flexing and popping coming from the frame/glass from my panoramic sunroof. I am worried for my safety that my roof is going to blow off or collapse when I'm driving. My vehicle was have been at the dealership for atleast 26 full days and many other trips to the dealership. I first brought. I first brought up the rattling on XXX and again on XXX they had it all day that day. I redropped it off XXX and smart toyota had it until XXX. I brought the car to the dealership many times after that. Dropped off my car at smart toyota on XXX and toyota had it until XXX. Every time toyota had my vehicle, they told me, they could not hear the sound or replicate it even though it does it very frequently. On XXX i stopped at the dealership because it was making the sound and had them go on a test drive with me. On the test drive, I drove with two other people from smart toyota, onto [XXX], i took her right onto veterans memorial, and at the roundabout, I took a left, and then I took her right out, the casino and back on to the veterans, and then I turned back onto [XXX]. On our way back to the dealership, I pulled into the parking lot of the davenport public library, where I heard the sound very apparent earlier that day. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, it made it, so I just kept turning in. And out of each lane so they could continue hearing it. I went back to the dealership I was told I'd be contacted within the week, it ended up being 3weeks. And I had to stop in because nobody answered my phone calls. I had an arbitration hearing on XXX. Toyota fabricated a story and said that the only time it made the sound was when I went over rumble Strips, and saying i went over a curb. I did not go over a curb. And none of the roads I went on, have rumble strips at all they fabricated a lie to not fix my car. All of the issues on my car started when my car was below 10,000 miles INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

TIRES

2025 Camry was dealer serviced at recommended internals. At the 24,000 mile service vehicle there was a "hum" from the front of the vehicle, and returned to the dealership. They confirmed the tires that had been on the back were moved to the front during the regular rotation and confirmed "consistent cupping on all 4" tires. The dealer informed us that all 4 Hankook Model Kinergy required replacement. The dealer would not provide a firm cause response. I asked for the alignment check and they confirmed it "was in spec at each visit and provided the report. The dealer inspects alignment and pressure at each visit and there were no findings of out of range. There is no warranty offered to the consumer on OEM tires, and the dealer provided an estimate for replacement in between $925 (same model which will absolutely not happen) and $1,250 for an alternate brand. In researching this issue, there are numerous reports of Hankook Kinergy GT tires OEM mounted and serviced failing between 5,000 and 24,000 miles, well below the warranty period. The arrangement between Toyota and Hankook does not support "tread wear" warranty and the only avenue for the consumer is full out of pocket replacement. When this information was passed along to the dealer, they asked for additional information and have agreed to "work with me" on cost of replacement and have requested a return visit to photograph the vehicle to submit a warranty claim. A Simple web search identifies a high instance of issues with this tire including a at least one safety recall due "tread separation potential". After presenting the dealer with the complaints filed and background, they have agreed to submit a warranty claim with Hankook but advised this will not likely provide relief. Regardless, these tires have documented failures in as little as 5,000 miles. And cupping/wear on all four wheels before the 4th service interval. Someone is going to be injured or worse. This needs a review!

STEERING,AIR BAGS

The contact owned a 2025 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was rear-ended, causing a chain reaction crash. The steering wheel became dislodged, and the steering wheel air bag failed to deploy. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard by the insurance company. The front and the rear of the vehicle were damaged, and the vehicle was deemed a total loss by the insurance company. The contact sustained a fractured sternum, fractured nose, and the right side of the face was bruised. The contact was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was treated for the fractures and bruises. A Police report was filed. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER

When I drove my car earlier the car audio was maximum because I was listening to something quiet. Later that day I went to start a video that was much much louder. The sound blasted for a couple of seconds and my ears really hurt. I do not believe at this time that I have permanent damage but it is very painful. Cars should not start with the audio at maximum volume, this is a real safety hazard.
